He was born on November 7, 1981, in Australia. In his school days, as an assistant director under director Koji Kawano, he got involved in making the movies released as videos/DVDs but not shown in theaters and the video packages for company use. After graduating from university, he worked in the news coverage division of TV Asahi Corporation for three years, but the charm of film making captured his heart so deeply that he left the company. Now he makes movies as a freelance movie director. He won the Grand Prix of ASCII Short Movie Contest, the Grand Prix of Shinshiro Film Festival, a prize for special merit of TSS Short Movie Contest, etc.
